Filem Lelaki Komunis Terakhir merupakan sebuah filem bercorak kembara dokumentari berlagu. Ia mendokumen perjalanan diringi lagu, mengenai kehidupan awal dan tinggalan bekas pemimpin Parti Komunis Malaya yang diharamkan, Chin Peng.

English Synopsis
A travel documentary essay, interspersed with specially composed songs, about the early life and legacy of Chin Peng, exiled leader of the banned Communist Party of Malaya.

The film, now banned in its native Malaysia, was first passed for release uncut by the Malaysian censorship board. It later retracted its initial approval on May 5th, 2006, less than two weeks before the film’s planned release. The board cited public protest as its reason for the ban.
